Research scholarships at Mieroszewski Center
Do you wish to explore the history and heritage of Central and Eastern Europe? Now you can fully dedicate yourself to the scholarship “A month in Poland”. The Mieroszewski Center has opened an enrollment for fulfilling interdisciplinary research project dedicated to the residents from the following countries: Ukraine, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, or Russia. The duration of this scholarship is one month and the amount of funding is PLN 6500.
Research in Ukraine
The Eastern European region faces multiple challenges. Ukraine, being at war with Russia, has been deprived of numerous academic activities, therefore, in order to support ambitious projects of the researchers, The Mieroszewski Center created an initiative, so scholarship holders could continue their work uninterrupted.
Research in Ukraine is a financial initiative dedicated to Ukrainian scholars who are willing and able to conduct their research despite the war. The scholarship is being opened every year and covers such topics as:
- the interplay and interaction of Polish and Ukrainian political thought and historiography,
- cultural cooperation between Poland and Ukraine after 1991,
- challenges to Polish-Ukrainian relations during the Russian aggression.

Each scholarship awarded by the institution has got a limited period of time.
