Crazy Time Live Review

Crazy Time Live is a prize wheel casino game developed and released by Evolution Gaming in 2020. This game is the third instalment in Evolution Gaming's line-up of live casino games, following Dream Catcher and Monopoly Live.

In Crazy Time Live, players engage in roulette-style gameplay enhanced by fun bonus features and multipliers. The game is hosted by a charismatic presenter in a vibrant studio setting. All of these aspects together create an experience that is like a cross between TV gameshows and an authentic casino experience.

Crazy Time Live Developers

Evolution Gaming is the mind behind Crazy Time Live and other top-quality slot and casino games. They are a leading online casino game content and software provider that has been producing titles for many years now. Evolution Gaming has also been quite innovative in its approach to live gameshow wheel games. Titles like Crazy Time Live, Dream Catcher and Monopoly Live are some of the first of their kind and have amassed a dedicated following as a result.

Crazy Time Live Game Background

Crazy Time Live has an extravagant background setting. Modeled after TV gameshows, the studio setting is vibrant and colourful and full of small details which can catch the player's eye. The wheel itself is a giant multi-coloured wheel with the logo in the centre of a giant red circle. Behind it, there is a red and green wall with a swirl pattern on both sides, and lights follow the swirl. In front of the playtable, there is a very modern floor setting.

The bonus rounds are also very interestingly designed, with them all having either their own giant screen or a new physical studio setting.

How to Play Crazy Time Live

Playing Crazy Time Live is really quite simple. There will be a presenter who will spin the Crazy Time Wheel. You will have a certain amount of time before this happens to place a bet. The bet range is from 10p to £5,000.

If you successfully predict the wheel landing on a certain number or block of numbers, you will be rewarded with that corresponding value. If you bet on a bonus game and the wheel lands on the bonus game, you will be allowed to participate. If you do not place a wager on the bonus round, then you will not be awarded access to this bonus game.

Crazy Time Live Wheel

The Crazy Time Wheel is a giant and colourful wheel that contains 54 segments. Each segment has the number 1, 2, 5, or 10 or a symbol which represents one of the game's 4 bonus rounds. As the segments do not all appear equally, they are not as equally valuable. The payouts for each potential outcome are as follows:

  • 21 Segments for the number 1 (pays 1x your stake)
  • 13 Segments for number 2 (pays 2x your stake)
  • 7 Segments for number 5 (pays 5x your stake)
  • 4 Segments for number 10 (pays 10x your stake)
  • 4 Coin Flip Segments (max win 5,000x)
  • 2 Cash Hunt Segments (max win 10,000x)
  • 2 Pachinko Segments (max win 10,000x)
  • 1 Crazy Time Segment (max win 20,000x)

Crazy Time Live Bonus Features

As we have previously mentioned, Crazy Time Live has 4 bonus features available, which all have different likelihoods of being triggered. The first bonus feature of note is the Coin Flip bonus round, which has a 7% chance of being landed. There is no digital animation for this, and instead, we watch as a physical coin is flipped by a machine inside the Crazy Time studio. The coin has a blue and red side with random multipliers being applied to either side. Whichever side the coin lands on, that multiplier is awarded to the player.

The next bonus available is the Cash Hunt bonus, which has just under a 4% chance of being landed.  In this round, you will see a giant screen with 108 random multipliers. All of the multipliers will be covered by random symbols and are then shuffled. Players must then choose a symbol, and whatever multiplier is hiding behind that symbol is awarded to the player.

Then there is the Pachinko bonus round, which shares the same number of segments as the Cash Hunt round and, therefore, shares the same chance of being triggered. In this round, the player is taken to a giant Pachinko machine with physical pegs and a giant glowing puck. The presenter will send the puck down the machine towards multipliers and double sections. Whichever multiplier the puck lands in is awarded to players. If the puck lands in a double section, then all multipliers are doubled, and the presented will send the puck down again.

Finally, there is the Crazy Time bonus round, which has just under a 2% chance of being triggered. In this round, you will be taken to an entirely new world through a red door and towards a new wheel. This wheel will have blue, green, and yellow flippers. You must choose a colour and you will be awarded whichever multipliers your flapper lands on. You can also land on double or triple segments, which will double or triple all multipliers, and the wheel will be spun again.

Crazy Time Live Mobile Play

Crazy Time Live is available to be played on mobile and computer devices. This function allows players to play Crazy Time Live from wherever they see fit. This autonomy over their own gaming sessions allows players to have more control over their casino game experiences.
